"We Choose PR, Thank You BN"

President of SNAP, Edwin Dundang Bugak and Secretary General, Stanley Jugol both said loudly they would not go back to the fold of the Barisan Nasional when met this morning.

Edwin said for the past eight years, they have been struggling without any helping hand from the BN.

After they teamed up with the Pakatan Rakyat, they claimed that the struggle in PR is more for the people than anything.

“It is to champion the rights of the people and we want to be part of it,” he said.

Saying that SNAP was like a lonely single woman with many suitors, SNAP has the right to pick and choose.

“We choose the PR” he said.

Stanley said the BN always claimed that DAP and PKR were West Malaysia based party. “They cannot say that now as we are with the Pakatan Rakyat. We are a local based party,” he added.

SNAP succeed in setting aside the de-registration in the Court of Appeal which occurred eight years ago when there was internal conflicts leading the party to be de-registered.

He said a CEC would be held soon to decide on the party’s future.
